 1.⁠ ⁠Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between PawHaven.co.uk (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you (“the Client”, “you”, “your”) for the provision of dog walking and/or pet sitting services (“Services”).

By booking or paying for any of our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.

 2.⁠ ⁠Services Provided

PawHaven.co.uk provides professional pet care services, including:

Dog walking (individual or group)

Pet sitting and drop-in visits

Feeding, fresh water provision, and companionship

Administration of oral or topical medication (if pre-authorised)

Updates and photos via text or email (where applicable)

Any additional or bespoke services must be agreed in writing prior to commencement.

3.⁠ ⁠Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide complete and accurate information regarding your pet’s behaviour and if necessary, their health and vaccination status.

Ensure your pet is microchipped and wearing an ID tag in accordance with UK law.

Supply safe, functional leads, collars, harnesses, and any necessary equipment.

Provide all food, treats, and medication required during the booking period.

Notify us immediately of any change to your pet’s health, temperament, or routine.

Provide safe access to your property and ensure any alarm systems or keys function correctly.

4.⁠ ⁠Health and Safety

All pets in our care must be fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatments.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service if a pet displays aggressive or unsafe behaviour.

Should your pet become ill or injured while in our care, we will contact you and/or your nominated emergency contact.

If you cannot be reached, we may seek veterinary treatment at our discretion. You agree to reimburse any related costs.

We will not walk female dogs in season (heat) unless specifically discussed and agreed upon.

5.⁠ ⁠Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance, where possible.

Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will not incur a charge.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will be charged at 50% of the booking fee.

Regular clients (weekly bookings) may have bespoke cancellation terms as agreed individually.

In the unlikely event that PawHaven.co.uk must cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or reschedule.

6.⁠ ⁠Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

We accept payment by bank transfer, debit/credit card, or cash.

Invoices not paid within 7 days may incur a £2 late payment fee.

Block bookings or prepaid packages must be used within six months of purchase.

7.⁠ ⁠Liability and Insurance

PawHaven.co.uk is fully insured for dog walking and pet sitting through [Protectivity].

We will take all reasonable care to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet and your property.

However, we cannot be held liable for injury, loss, or damage caused by your pet or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., illness, theft, fire, or natural disasters).

You are responsible for any damage or injury your pet causes to property, animals, or people during our care.

You agree to indemnify PawHaven.co.uk and its owners (Max Pini and Sid Mitchell) against any claims arising from your pet’s actions.

8.⁠ ⁠Keys and Home Access

Keys, fobs, and access codes provided to PawHaven.co.uk will be stored securely and used only to perform agreed Services.

Keys will be returned within seven (7) days of termination of Services upon written request.

We accept no responsibility for loss or damage if entry details are incorrect or if third-party access compromises security.

9.⁠ ⁠Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, we will first attempt to contact you and your nominated emergency contact.

If neither can be reached, we may contact your registered veterinarian or a nearby veterinary clinic.

You authorise us to act in your pet’s best interests and agree to reimburse all reasonable expenses incurred.

  10.⁠ ⁠Photos and Updates

We may take photos or videos of your pet during Services for updates or marketing purposes.

You may opt out of promotional use at any time by emailing Max@pawhaven.co.uk

Photos used for marketing will never include identifiable client information or property details.

  11.⁠ ⁠Termination

Either party may terminate Services at any time with written notice.

Any outstanding balances must be paid in full upon termination.

PawHaven.co.uk reserves the right to terminate Services immediately if a pet’s behaviour or home environment presents a risk to staff or the pet.

  12.⁠ ⁠Data Protection

PawHaven.co.uk complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

Personal information is stored securely and used only for the purpose of providing Services.

Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

  13.⁠ ⁠Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  14.⁠ ⁠Acceptance of Terms

By booking, paying for, or confirming Services with PawHaven.co.uk, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
